125th Anniversary Block Party

Celebrate Racine Public Library’s 125th Anniversary with us at our very own Block Party. We’ll be closing down Lake Avenue and celebrating with a classic car show, games, crafts, face painting, vendors, food trucks, live music, and more. This event is sponsored by the Racine Public Library Foundation, the Friends of the Racine Public Library, Game Changers and ZMac Transportation.
Kids’ shows include:
- Duke Otherwise – 10 to 11 a.m.
- Sweatshop Movement – 1:30 to 2 p.m.
Food:
- Dragon Pit BBQ
- The Corn King
- Pico’s Tacos – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Jaramillo’s – 4 to 8 p.m.
- Beer Tent – Noon to 8
Live music:
- Georgia Rae – 2:30 to 4 p.m.
- Spirit Shakers – 4:30 to 6 p.m.
- Indigo Canyon – 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Other entertainment includes:
- Classic Car Show – 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
- History Talk: “The Library We Remember” – Noon to 1 p.m.
- Racine International Folk Dancers — 11 a.m. to noon
- Happy Birthday to the Library — 1:10 p.m.
- La Perla Tapatia USA — 6 to 6:30 p.m.
